Remote Inventory

The term "Remote Inventory" describes the process of remotely obtaining information about a computer's (desktop, laptop, or server) inventory, e.g. its hardware devices and associated drivers.

This information is commonly stored in a management database, and can be used for automatically selecting and assigning third-party device drivers that are required during an unattended operating system installation.

Also, the inventory information can be used for generating business reports.

The bootix BootManage Administrator is the bootix remote inventory solution for desktop, laptop and server computers.
