2. During the early boot process, my PC displays "LanDesk Service Agent" - What is this?

"LanDesk Service Agent" is Intel's PXE implementation - So, you have a PC that was equipped by the manufacturer with an Intel OnBoard network chipset inclusive PXE code. Now, you only need the BootManage Administrator to actually make use of your PXE-enabled PC. Back to FAQ overview

3. How are BootManage products licensed in general?

Generally, all BootManage products are licensed per client, that means, a license is required for each client. Back to FAQ overview

4. How are the TCP/IP BOOT-PROMs and PXE BOOT-PROMs licensed?

You need a license for each BootManage TCP/IP BOOT-PROM or BootManage PXE PROM code that is used in a PC. This is independent of the code packaging (physical PROM chip, programming disk, BIOS integration). Make sure that you have a bootix license sticker for each bootix PROM code, and attach this sticker either to the PROM itself, or to the network adapter. Back to FAQ overview

5. How is the BootManage Administrator licensed?

The BootManage Administrator is licensed per managed PC, that means, you need a license for each managed PC.
