Zero Touch Provisioning

The term "Zero Touch Provisioning" denotes the installation of a target computer (desktop, laptop, or server) in a completely unattended and automated way, i.e. without any user intervention.

For this, the target computer must be equipped with a network boot code (such as the TCP/IP BOOT-PROM or PXE PROM code), so that it can be remotely turned on (via remote wakeup / WakeOnLAN packet) and booted over the network. This allows the , so that the network-booted operating system.
